Syamala is an anchor, model and TV-film actress. She was born on 5 November 1989 in Kakinada, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. She is also called by the name ‘Shyamala‘. She did her schooling and graduation from her hometown Kakinada. Now she resides in a flat which is situated in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Career

She started her career at the age of 17 by participating in the talent hunt show held in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh and after that, she started getting offers from Telugu TV serials. In 2010, she started her acting career from the TV serial ‘Laya’. After that, she has featured in Telugu TV serials like ‘Abhishekam’, ‘Laya, Happy Days’, ‘Maa Voori Vanta’, ‘Pattukunte Pattucheera, etc.
Her first movie was ‘Loukyam’ (2014)  in which she played the supporting role.

She also worked as a supporting actress in the Telugu movies like ‘Oka Laila Kosam’, ‘Gundello Godaari’, ‘Intinta Annamayya’, etc.
She is best known for her anchoring in the Telugu TV show – ‘Lakshmi Rave Maa Intiki’. Apart from anchoring in the TV shows, she also hosted many stage shows, audio launches, awards functions as well as talk shows.
In 2018, she entered the house of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 2’ as a celebrity contestant.
