Trisha Krishnan

Trisha Krishnan is a model and actress, who primarily works in South Indian films. She first appeared in Falguni Pathak's music video "Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye". Before entering films, she has won a beauty pageant Miss Madras contest. Trisha made her Tollywood debut with 2003 movie Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu. She was last seen in Tamil movie Kodi. She has handful of Tamil and Malayalam movies.

Trisha was born on 4 May 1983 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She completed her schooling from Sacred Heart Matriculation School, Chennai. Later she graduated in BBA at Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai. Initially, she aspired to become a criminal psychologist instead became an actress. She is very much fluent in Tamil, Telugu, French, Hindi and English languages. She has been the Goodwill Ambassador of PETA.

Family/Personal life

Trisha's father Krishnan died due to a cardiac arrest. Her mother Uma Krishnan, being an actress has rejected several film offers as she wanted to focus on her daughter's career. Trisha is very close to her mom and resides in Chennai with her mother and grandmother.

Marriage

After relationship with Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati, actress Trisha has fallen in love with an entrepreneur-producer Varun Manian. The couple got engaged on 23 January 2015, but soon they were broken up. Buzz is that, there is something cooking between the ex-couple Trisha and Rana. But they earlier added a tag of just friends.

Career

Trisha has started her career as a model for many popular brands including Pepsi, Fair and Lovely, Medimix. She has made her film debut with tamil movie "Jodi" in 1999. In the same year she has won the "Miss Salem" beauty pageant and Miss Madras contest. She had also won the Miss India 2001 pageant's "Beautiful Smile" award.

Trisha was given the Telugu Filmfare as well as the Santosham Award for Best Actress for "Lesa Lesa". After acting in seven Tamil films Trisha made her Telugu film debut with Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu in 2003. She gained huge fame with the Telugu super hit film "Varsham" opposite Prabhas.

Trisha later appeared opposite top heros in the films Bangaram, Stalin, Sainikudu, Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, Krishna, Sankham, King and many more. Currently, she is very busy with Tamil films.
