Swathi was born as Svetlana on 19 April 1987 in Vladivostok, Russia. Her family moved to Mumbai and then to the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam, where she spent most of her childhood. While studying 11th class, she moved to Hyderabad and got graduated in Biotechnology from St. Marys College.
