Shraddha Das

Shraddha Das is an Indian film actress, who predominantly works in Tollywood. She also appears in Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam and Kannada movies. She made her acting debut with 2008 Telugu film 'Sidhu from Srikakulam'. Some of her notable movies include 20 Love Story, Diary, Adhineta and Arya 2. Shraddha is called as "Sequel Queen" for her roles in the sequels of Arya, Mantra, Diary and Nagavalli. She made her Bollywood debut with 'Lahore'. She was last seen in comedy Hindi movie 'Great Grand Masti'.

Shraddha Das was born on 4 March 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She has graduated from University of Mumbai at SIES College of Commerce and Economics with a Bachelor of Mass Media degree in Journalism. During her education, she worked in theater and attended workshops conducted by National School of Drama artists.

Shraddha has appeared in advertisements like McDowells, Aristocrat and over 400 catalogues. She is good at singing, dancing and even learnt sword fighting, martial arts, Taekwondo. She is inspired by actress Sushmita Sen.

Career

Shraddha got her big break from Telugu movie Sidhu directed by Srikakulam in 2008. In 2010 she made her Bollywood debut in Sai Om Films maiden venture Lahore. She played a Pakistani psychiatrist in the film and received critical acclaim for her performance. In 2014, she was seen in the erotic thriller 'Zid'. She also acted in print advertisements like McDowells, Aristocrat and over 400 catalogues before training at the Gladrags academy.
