Ram Charan Teja

Ram Charan is an Indian film actor, entrepreneur, dancer, producer and a businessman as well. He made his acting debut with the film Chirutha. His second movie Magadheera established him as a leading actor of Tollywood.

He has won two Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards South, two CineMAA Awards and one Santosham Best Actor Award. Ram has made his bollywood debut with the remake of Zanjeer. In 2016, he has established a production house, 'Konidela Production Company'. He was the co-owner of Anjana Productions. He is one of the highest paid actors in Tollywood.

Ram Charan was born on 27 March 1985 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu and was brought up in Chennai. He is famous for his dance moves and has good skills in Martial Arts. He also knows horse riding well. He owns a Polo Team Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club (RC HPRC). He also serves on the board of directors of MAA TV. In July 2015, he has started his own Hyderabad-based airline business called TruJet. Ram is also the face & co-owner of obstacle running series, Devil's Circuit.

Ram Charan and director Sukumar is coming up with a movie titled 'Rangasthalam 1985'. It features actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu as female lead, while Aadhi Pinisetty and Jagapati Babu plays pivotal roles. It is heard that, for the Hindi version, Bollywood Star Ajay Devgn is dubbing for Ram Charan. The film will hit the screens on 30 March 2018.

Ram Charan Teja was born to Tollywood superstar-cum-politician Chiranjeevi and Surekha Konidala, who is a home maker. He has two sisters Sushmitha and Sreeja. He is the grandson of late Allu Rama Lingaiah, who was a comedian.

Actors Nagendra Babu and Pawan Kalyan are his paternal uncles. Indian film producer and distributor Allu Aravind is his maternal uncle. Actors Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish are his cousins.

Marriage

Charan got married to Upasana Kamineni on June 14, 2012 at the Temple Tress Farm House. Their engagement took place in Hyderabad on December 1, 2011. The couple later visited the Tirupati and had their honeymoon in Vatican City.
