Manchu Manoj

Manchu Manoj is an Indian film actor, who mainly works in Telugu Film Industry. At the age of ten, he appeared as a child artist in super hit film Major Chandrakanth. He made his acting debut as lead actor in Telugu Film with Donga Dongadi (2004). He received state Nandi Special Jury Award for his role in Bindaas. Manoj was last seen in the movie Gunturodu.

Biography

Manchu Manoj Kumar was born on 20 May 1983 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He has done his bachelors degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. From the young age his father made him to learn all the epics like Bhagwat Geeta, Ramayana and Mahabhrat. Manoj is a very mischievous during his school days and very much naughty on his shooting sets. He is passionate about Mixed Martial Arts and currently taking training in a new kind of stunts in Phuket.

In Okkadu Migiladu

Manchu Manoj will be seen in upcoming movie 'Okkadu Migiladu', which is being directed by Ajay Nuthakki. The actor will play the role of LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) Commander.

His character will reflect the life of the slain LTTE supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran, who fought for the rights of Tamilians living in Sri Lanka. Anisha Amborse will play the role of journalist. The film will hit the screens on 6th October 2017.

Manchu Manoj is the son of great Tollywood film actor, educationalist, politician and philanthropist Mohan Babu and his second wife Nirmala Devi. He has a two step-siblings, elder sister Manchu Lakshmi and elder brother Vishnu Manchu, who are also actors.

Pranathi has done CA (Charted Accountant) in USA and was a classmate of Manoj's sister-in-law, Viranica.

Career

Manchu Manoj has played many roles as a child actor in his own banner movies where his father Mohan Babu is shown as a child in flashbacks. His best childhood movie was Punyabhoomi Naa Desam starred by his father. He began his career as a hero in 2004 with Donga Dongadi movie.

In 2005, he appeared in the movie Sri and next in Raju Bhai in 2007. In 2009 his first movie Prayanam has done moderately well. In 2010, he was seen as Ajay in Bindaas, which turned out to be the biggest hit of his career. Super hit film Vedam has brought him huge success.

In 2012, he featured in Mr. Nookayya and Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?. In the year 2013, he was seen in 5 films. His subsequent releases were Potugadu, Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda and Current Theega.

In Gunturodu

'Gunturodu' is an action comedy Telugu film directed by SK Satya and produced by Sree Varun Atluri. It featured Manchu Manoj and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles, while Rajendra Prasad, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Rao Ramesh were seen in supporting roles. Manoj was seen playing the role as an unemployed aggressive man.
