Aadi aka Aditya Pudipeddi is an Indian actor who mainly works in Telugu films. Right from his debut movie 'Prema Kavali', he has gained huge fame. He even won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut - South. Later he was seen in the films like Lovely, Sukumarudu, Galipatam, Garam and many more. Aadi was last seen in Telugu film Shamanthakamani.

Biography

Aditya Pudipeddi (Aadi) was born on 23 December in Andhra Pradesh, India. Till 7th standard, he did his schooling in Padma Sheshadri, Chennai and then he moved to St Andrews in Hyderabad. He has done Intermediate at St Johns and graduation from Bhavans Vivekananda College. Since his childhood Aadi is very fond of acting.

He was also an accomplished cricket player. He was selected for under-19 Ranji Cricket Team. He played under the captaincy of Ambati Rayudu, the Indian Team player who was his room-mate during their Sri Lanka trip.

It will be bankrolled by Cinema Choopistha Maama fame producer Bekkem Venugopal. The story-line of the movie has impressed the actor and he gave his immediate nod.

Aadi is the son of Sai Kumar and Surekha. His father is an Indian film dubbing artist, actor and television presenter. His mother is a home-maker and he has a sister Jyothirmayi Phalguna Kavipurapu. His paternal grandfather late P.J Sharma was an actor and story-writer. His uncle P.Ravi Shankar is also an actor and a dubbing artist in Kannada film industry.

Career

Aadi Saikumar made his Telugu debut in 2011 with K. Vijaya Bhaskar's directorial Prema Kavali. He played the role of Srinu, a NCC Cadet. He has won the Hyderabad Times award 2011 for Promising Newcomer Male, CineMAA Awards (2012) for best Debut Actor of 2012 and Filmfare Awards South (2012) for Best Male Debut - South of 2011.

His next release was Lovely, which was a blockbuster. In 2013, Aadi starred in G. Ashok's directorial Sukumarudu which released on 4 May 2013. He played the role of Sukumar, a greedy and selfish NRI.

In 2014, he was appeared in movies like Pyar Mein Padipoyane, Galipatam and Rough, which were all average at the box-office. He was seen in Garam and Chuttalabbai during the year 2016.

Marriage/Wife

Aditya Pudipeddi got married to Aruna on 13 December 2014 in Hyderabad. She is a software professional. Her parents are lawyers in Rajahmundry and her relatives are also into civil services. They first met in Aadi sister's marriage and fell in love with each other. The couple is blessed with a baby girl named Ayaana.
